Partnering with founder Wesley Sewell, we designed the strategy of ADRIFT COFFEE to visually speak to the quiet, grounding moments that sit between everything else. Drawing loosely from Wesley’s own shift toward a slower, more intentional life, where coffee became a small daily ritual grounding his days. The challenge was to create a brand that shared a desire to pause, notice a moment, and take a breath before the day moves on.

The visual system leans into a restrained system with loose, hand‑drawn typography and marks as anchor points. Set within a palette of nature inspired color, the visual marks sit somewhere between the boldness of coastal signal flags and delicateness of botanical Matisse-esque forms. Each element is slightly imperfect, set within a balanced grid, keeping the identity refined yet human rather than polished or precious.
